These vases were awarded for a Munich flower show competition along with a few Allach Kindl pieces in different years. Very nice!

It is known that Himmler ordered a whole room - Frühstückszimmer, which can probably be translated as breakfast room or dining room - for his house at Gmund/Tegernsee from the DHW.

Here is the only DHW kitchen cabinet I ever came across and is the highlight of a complete DHW kitchen - maybe Himmler got the same..who knows?
          Gotta check the docs again..

As it has always been a german tradition the furniture pieces for the kitchen are mostly made of soft wood and so the DHW products are no exception.

Wrought iron hinges and fittings - german period craftsmenship at it´s best.

Nice Thorsten! Now you just have got to get that awful sticky paper out of it!

                  Thank you, mate!
Funny thing is that using this paper is also a typical habit and tradition to protect the surface of the wood, many people simply used newspapers for that...but of course you´re right, I´ll get linen in there.

Your silly ranting surely is not.

Indeed these are true masterpieces of period SS furniture.

Hmm...maybe there should be more copies of DHW booklets available..

These pieces offer a LOT of atmosphere of the period and for my taste they are the heart of any SS cultural collection.

And in this kitchen an Erbhof sign and a tree of life tapestry and it is all perfect harmony.

To think the SS were the only ones that could buy the wood furniture.... EVER, and the erbhof had nothing to do with the blut und boden.

The SS was responsible for a well documented type, design and range of furniture - and the best organized and most important ones are the DHW pieces.

And the concept of Erbhöfe was pure Blut und Boden ideology and policy - also realized by the SS.

                                "Well documented" as DHW.
Until a source cites this furniture as SS, it is only DHW.
