      Frisch - Fromm - Fröhlich - Frei.

Obviously some kind of Julfest gift, of course..but I have no idea what was kept inside and presented initially.

      Anyway: a cool authentic piece.

Hope you like the Radleuchter that I just purchased in Germany.
1930's , TR period piece , diameter of the rim 85 CM , overall would be around 1 meter. 65 cm high. Don't know if this is a DHW piece , but to me it just screams SS.

Particulary I like the pattern on the outer side of the rim which resembles some found on Allach ceramics.

                      Ineresting broach

Here's an interesting silver broach I picked up. I really like the design with the spirals around the edge. I've tried to find out who "C.D." was, but I haven't been able to find anyone on the lists of known German silver smiths with these initials/mark.

Super brooch. I think it's made by Ringele and a few years short of the TR.

All I know is that Ringele made EK's during WWI marked C.D. 800. No, my gut tells me pre 1933. Perhaps sometime in the 20's? Runic brooches was in vogue then and were made by several firms. Here is a page from a pre-TR salescatalogue by one selling other germanic designs.
