Hmm looks like the last photo has an photo optical illusion present.

With some older cameras you sometimes got something called I think image compression, though I still have to look it up.

Combination of a leaf shutter at high speed and fast moving object and camera movement

Looks like this JU 87 was punched in the nose. At first glace I though it was a Jap-0.

I just know that the photographer (Luftwaffe Kriegsberichter Otto Vieth) mainly used a Leica III. which exact model im not sure yet..

Looks normal, just an odd angle.

If that is correct then 'NARVIK1940' is correc rtjust an odd angle. The slit shutter on a Leica III could never create the image compression I talked about.

                              Color War Slides from Ian

Interesting to see the 1938 nighttime shots. The look like they were taken at relatively high shutterspeeds and/or with a tripod. What was the ASA/ISO range for that early color film?

I knew a vet that took color slides in North Africa. He said the ASA of Kodachrome was quite low. Something like 8 or 16. He said bright sun was needed for good quality photos.

                                Awesome stuff Ian

What a difference seeing the war and normal life shots in color.

Thanks for taking the time to post these.
