Is it Lucian King Truscott behind Clark right?
            I am not sure.

You have an amazing collection. Do you have any slides from Norway taken by German personnel during the war?

                  correct !

I believe that Otto Vieth sent many of his color agfacolor film directly to Der Adler for potential publication.

These shots are taken a minute before or after the Der Adler shot.

Also many of the color slides in the Otto Vieth colleciton are more personnel memory shots showing him and his fellow photographers on the front... not really always propaganda material but super fascinating !

I think I have about... at least ...300 color agfacolor slides showing Norway from 1940 to 1945.

Not all yet scanned and published....

Here are a few examples from my online archive pixpast.com

                    Enjoy.

                        Ian,

Thanks! Fascinating! Do you have any mid to late war photos depicting use of camouflage, particularly on helmets?

                        Thanks again,

                        Scott

Great pics! Norway, I would think that was about the best place for a German Soldat to spend the war.

                              Definitely!

Fantastic colour pictures of Norway Ian.

FYI - For those interested in Norway during the occupation fellow WAF member Tor runs this website:-

                              http://krigsbilder.net/

It's temporarily down (a few days server maintenance - I just checked with Tor), and sadly no colour pics! But some excellent black & white pictures from various captured German albums (and some non-German too), you can spend hours there!

Anyone interested should check it out in a few days from now when it's up and running again.

                              Regards, Paul
