Here is a negative I finally got around to scanning. I couldn't fit it all on my negative scanner so it appears to be cropped.

            Tropical uniforms underneath?

Do they have on tropical clothes underneath,as looks lighter uniforms,or just the picture quality?.Like did they wear them early on in the fighting, not shure now or forget realy,as know they wore them in the italy during summer weather in 1943. In 1944 suppose to then,1945 not shure now as did not reach summer in italy from january-may 1945 right,(get mixed up with seasons, like thats winter and spring?).

Both seem to wear tropical Luftwaffe-trousers (with large leg-pocket), indicated by the typical buckle-arrangement at the ankles.

Any italy 1944 tropical uniforms pictures?

Well thought my eyes where right, and yes seen tropical gear was in use in sicily, southern italy and suppose northern italy to when it was summer right as normal or ordered.Like FJ in rome in 1943 i have seen in tropical gear, there is salerno etc...and then late anzio i suppose as went into june 1944,summer right.

on page#737...Yes and not a stupid question at all....he is wearing an officers belt. One reason why I post pics on this forum is to show the variety of uniforms and what is worn on or with those uniforms. Nothing seems standard as far as that goes.

                                yeah, I was surprised.
I know that not every thing was so standard as alot of people "would" believe.
most picutres speak the truth about how it went in those days. Not every thing was textbook ! thanks for sharing, you've some amazing pics.
