                    that glider rather looks like a Do 17, split tail, two engine gondolas and all that... ;-)

                      Sorry but you must be seeing something that I am not....one thing for sure there are no engines on that DFS 230 glider!!! - Bill

                        Here is a pic of a possible FJ in tropical jacket lacking a Jump badge along with the standard LW issue one pocket tropical trousers and what appears to be 2nd model jump boots...definitely not ankle boots which leads me to believe he is FJ.

                            Aircraft in #755

                            Sorry Bill but the aircraft in #755 is definitely not a DFS230.
                            I'm not 100% certain but it does appear to be a Do17.

                            Congrats on all your other excellent photos by the way and many thanks for sharing them with us.

                              Bill,

                              have a close look at the front end, there is a protrusion/bump on the top wing joint and a similar one on the bottom, same location- engine gondolas. Plus there were no gliders with such a tail arrangement and a Bf 110 (which also has a split tail) was a low-winged aircraft.

                              Certainly not a DFS 230...
