Hello Gran Sasso, a very nice example of a most likely Bulgarian made Luftwaffe use flight jacket. This type of jacket though well made is found mostly in fragile condition. Value is tough, Ive seen these advertised @ $1500 but seem to sell for less than $1000. Yours appears to be in tip top condition and is very desirable. Best Bill Bourque

Thanks for showing, very nice sheepskin jacket..
The price is what you want, that seems to be the rule..
I wouldn't know either, any decent price I'd say,but many times people will advise you the price they find on the website of the most expensive dealer in the world,....then it's time to move on for many..
More and more I realize that it's wrong to talk about prices, because these prices are all related to expensive dealers and people who like to add $$ to their goodies every day...
To copy these prices we make it harder and harder for us to obtain a new item and we get stuck and can only watch instead of collect..

It is more apparent to me now after close study of the insiginia that the gulls appear to be hand cut, and not the same material that I have of original rank. The thread around the border of the swatch attached to the Kombi, does not glow, but the thread around the gulls and bar that attach to the swatch does glow under UV.

Hi Theodor,
A nice,clean example
What is the year and month of the calculator?
I have a couple of these in my collection. I have tried to calculate wind vectors to apply to a track but have not managed to crack the code
I can do this with a 'Dalton' flight calculator/protractor but the LW item leaves me stumped.
Happy New Year to all,
Robert.
