Hello Jos, a superb set. So many of these types are frayed on the edges. Well done. Best, Bill Bourque

      My new LKp N 101

I was lucky enough to pick this up a minty LKp N 101. I can find no damage inside or out - even the connectors are mint!

The only questions I have are on the stamps inside - I hope you experten can assist.

      Regards,

      John

I can think of the German word "Abgenommen" which I can only translate as "purchased"(in the year..) (probably not the right word in English..)

                Jos.

Thanks Gene! BTW, what do you think, is the bubble correct "size"? Is it right, or is it too big, maybe the compass has lost some fluid through the ages???

Its lost some fluid (normal aging). The red circle on the compass face matches the original size of the bubble.

This red marking was used to center the bubble, in order to hold the compass level. (The principle is the same as a carpenter's spirit level used today).

                              Sincerely,
                              Ray
