    Red waffenfarbe

Hey Richard, you are correct, I didn't even realize that. I guess since I've given you rhis great evidence for your wrapper, that will push me up to the front of the line of the guys wanting that wrapper if you ever decide to part with it, right?

PaulR, it is definately red, so Artillery Measuring Service is what it must be if that is the only option. That is great information you have supplied, but I know nothing about that service, would it have been part of a stug unit or in suport of one?

      John,

You have just been moved up 17 spaces and are now in the very front of the line.

Wait until you see what I bring to the next meeting. A panzer wrap that doesn't exist according to the experts, and its got his soldbuch with a photo of him in the exact same wrap. It also came with matching M-43, and his name tags in both hat and wrap. The tag has his branch of service, rank, name, and the drivers school and city where he was stationed in a replacement unit.

Other example of interesting red piped panzer artillerie collar tabs.

I found a close-up of the collar and tab on the general's wrap. I still haven't gone and bought a new camera yet. Maybe Santa? The skulls are aluminum and very light weight and a style I have never seen on another wrapper. He has quite a veiny cranium. The quality of the wrap is about the same as an Armani suit. Maybe it is a Hugo Boss wrapper?

Is that an embroidered EKI on that wrap?

                              Wow, Richard.

If you ever get bored of that wrap, I'm just a PM away.

                                Luca, Jacques,

I have added you to the waiting list as it usually takes me a couple weeks to tailor one, also the material is getting hard to find.

It does have a killer cloth EKI. I believe it was original to the wrap, he doesn't seem to have too many awards, but a fairly long ribbon or medal bar. There is a label of sorts which I will have to photograph.

Thanks for all the compliments and interest.
