And yes it does matter that you don’t collect ss daggers
I don’t collect lots of things on this forum so I don’t comment on them
    Vietnam shirts not a clue
    57 awards ditto
You are repeating yourself. Are you OK??

To get back to the subject at hand:

As I said before I'm not the one to evaluate the Brass Bird - it was den70 that I recommended. FP

      Hi Fred!
Nothing personal but this dagger really requires a specialist. Those small idiosyncrasies are very revealing to someone with the proper background.

Bob, We are in agreement, and have been since post: #1245, 1246, 1249, 1253. 1255, 1272, and 1276 and before. I have never said that I should be the one to to examine the dagger. Again, and again, and again I keep saying that den70 who has a demonstrated record of accomplishments and expertise is someone that the Team, if it really wants to show good faith, should permit to completely examine the subject dagger. If that will ever happen is up to them which is the essence of what Serge indicated earlier. Fred

          Hi Fred!
Like I said before you do have a lot of great knowledge and I have learned a bit from you too. But.... at times like this on a dagger you agree requires a specialized set of experience I think you should let it go. If you had handled several of these I think you would be in a better position but in this case not.

I thinks one of the reason more photos have not been posted is mr prinz
His attitude on this and other posts and his dogmatic refusal to answer questions without waffling ,posting irrelevant photos, is tiresome to say the least
I think we all agree the eagle is not very nice
Its more telling of it being original as a faker would have made a better one or used a period one off say a stick pin which are readily and cheaply available
Wait. So now the Dagger has been taken apart?
