Larry it has been a good while since I posted my photo. I will post it again for you. Note the distinct simularities in the buildings. It appears that my photo may have been taken further down the same road as we see the same side of the building though from a different angle. Take care my friend. Mike

Here's the other photo. It was taken further up the hill.

I'm very happy that you have ID'd the city as Smolensk as I am researching the
album, trying to ID locations etc.

I will post another photo that is in the same sequence of photos in the album.
It may be Smolensk as well.

The layout of this city is similar to the pics of Smolensk and it may be that city.

I can ID a Renault AHN truck and maybe a Ford car in the photo.

I am 2500km away from my reference material, but...

I would say, a Horch, a DKW, not sure and two
Ford Eifel cars.
