Great badge Mathijs!
A big old chunk of silver too!! As others have said, I think it would be worth having the missing stone replaced!!
Interesting to see the double catch, appears very similar to the type S&L used, apart from the shaping of the end of the base part, maybe its the same catch, just trimmed/ finished differently, Souval used a lot of the same hardware as S&L, so that wouldn't be surprising?
S&L seemed to use the double catch for a short time, maybe a couple of years around the mid 60's, does that date also apply to your badge??

Seems nowadays you have to have deep pockets to buy good 57er pieces .
Therefore I was quite pleased getting this little gem for a fair price.
Yes, one of the rivets is repaired and the pin is replaced, but its an honest worn piece.
The eagle has got a clipped swastika and then finished, nice bonus there.
Also it came with a small stick-pin, which I'll show in the next post.
