            Great badge Mathijs!
A big old chunk of silver too!! As others have said, I think it would be worth having the missing stone replaced!!
Interesting to see the double catch, appears very similar to the type S&L used, apart from the shaping of the end of the base part, maybe its the same catch, just trimmed/ finished differently, Souval used a lot of the same hardware as S&L, so that wouldn't be surprising?
S&L seemed to use the double catch for a short time, maybe a couple of years around the mid 60's, does that date also apply to your badge??
            Very nice!!!!!!!!!!

Seems nowadays you have to have deep pockets to buy good 57er pieces .
Therefore I was quite pleased getting this little gem for a fair price.

Yes, one of the rivets is repaired and the pin is replaced, but its an honest worn piece.
The eagle has got a clipped swastika and then finished, nice bonus there.
Also it came with a small stick-pin, which I'll show in the next post.

Very nice to get pieces that have been worn.

And here is my latest score - despite a more common badge, the early St&L version proofs hard to find nowadays.

Hi Matthijs, very nice one - and I can see a small "O" mark on it

                            Hi Mathijs,

I like it very much and the early LW badges are getting very tough to find!

                            Best,

                            Jeff

                              Yes, great pieces!!
The early birds just can't be beaten when it come to quality of detail and finish!!
                              Great lookers!!
