Any DAK items
Hello Friends,
Here's the new acquisition: a large, early 1st pattern DAK nco tunic with matched nco boards. My first nco DAK tunic, it will be well cared for and cherished. It just arrived today and I want to share it with the members at large - before placing into secure storage.
I am contemplating reattaching the breast eagle which, although original, has been reapplied. The remainder, including nco tresse, loops and c.t., all look period .
Enjoy!

Chris, Beautiful tunic Love the boards but especially love the Greenish shade and worn appearance of the tunic. Nice big size as well which is fairly rare in it self. If it was mine I would definately reapply the eagle as I feel it does detract from the rest of such a sweet tunic Imo
Cheers Greg

Mark,
You mean one like this tan example...untouched insignia, early Panzer Grenadier boards, sewn down lower pockets....not that I would sell it. I'm not having a go at Chris, I just couldn't believe the final price of the tunic, but they are scarce and more and more collectors are desperately 'wanting' one.
Have a good weekend.

Hello Gentlemen,
Mark, BEAUTIFUL TUNICS!!! Gotta really love this stuff. You have a very fashionable ensemble - a panzer man and his grenadier.
True, paid a king's ransom for this last one but really wanted a large NCO's. Been looking for a long time. Found a few em's out there not notta one NCO. They're just real hard to find. Further, the nice & early DAK nco boards are always welcome additions. The A.K. cuff is a nice, minty example too.
I'm going to resew the breast eagle and replace the c.t. with the example depicted below. Its got the right wear, fading and "pressed" look - just like the tunic.
