I do apologize with my slowliness in taking pics, but my sister "stolen" my camera..please hold on. Anyway, absolutely no traces of any marking left in tthe 41 pz cap. The inside is as much faded as the outside...
"QUITE interesting" officer's upgraded cap Mark... if you should part from it...

DAK panzer straps?
Gentlemen,
Do these boards appear to be panzer or artillery? Color is rosa pink.

It's allright Daniele, this one's mine...
Insignia stripped with removed Panzer Grenadier soutache, manufactured by Robert Lubstein, 1941 dated and still has a tag with the soldiers initials. I'm constantly looking for a well used and faded set of insignia to place on it. I've received some very high offers for it but have no interest in parting with it (just like Mark with his). I could have made a profit of thousands if I had accepted one of the offers but I am a collector so the monetary temptation just isn't there.
Have a great weekend (I'll be working for at least half of it as usual).
Mark

Panzer boards
Good Morning,
Here are the undersides. Unfortunately, the chocolate brown wool is missing from the bottoms of the nco and an em. I am in the process of restoring each with some original material I have and then make a good looking chocolate brown wool bottom for it with the little remaining original material I have left.
I believe they are panzer.

DAK panzer boards restoration
Hi,
Thanks Mark.
I highly value the rarer DAK stuff and try to conserve and care for it the best I can. Every now and then I find a "sick" piece which needs some TLC. Just love DAK!!!
Here's the progress on the restoration thus far. The "former" NCO on the right.
I'm also going to try to mend the moth'ed piping section on the EM (left).
Best,

In your shoes, I'd try to do the same. SURELY well worthy a restoration!
