      Hi Larry,

This beautiful cap obviously served a full tour in Afrika.
The wear and fading speaks Volumes !

      Thanks for sharing

Good afternoon, I recently acquired an interesting set of SVB 288 photos. Each photo is dated Summer 1943, Greece and the names. Most interesting is the photo of the Obfwd Arund with the SVB patch and the unit insignia in front of the tent. Got a naval patch. Judging by the photos of building a bridge, would this be the 7 Pioneer Company? Is there a way of tracking who served in this unit? Many thanks Gordon

              Hi Gordon,

Nice clear shot showing his medals, boots, insignia and even a helmet on top of the tent.
Interesting Afrika insignia done in the fore ground!

              Thanks for sharing.

                Hello all!
Here i Post my humble contribution to DAK photos.
This is the only Afrika Korps item i have. Interestingly (I have it from a far far family member) it came with these italian flight goggles attached.

Best regards to all. Again, a fantastic thread and so many fantastic items!
