Hello fellow DAKies',

Here is my latest DAK acquisition. It's a luft afrika camo helm. The color is actually a pinkish/tanish paint scheme which doesn't show up very well on my 2.0 mega pixel camera. I am so very pleased and have wanted one of these for many, many years.

Dave, what are the markings in that 2nd pattern? Can we get a close-up of the eagles stitching? I'm interested in the varieties of stitch on 2nd's.

I just love the tropenhelm...the olive canvas examples are just so much better than the more common tan canvas and felt examples.

and Mark...I have to admit that I never tire of seeing your wonderful collection. I wouldn't mind doing some complete mannequins myself one day.

Guys, if someone would be so kind i will toss my dak stuff up for you, not a lot but i have some items that i think would be great. We need some silverware up and i can fulfil that gap for this thread, as well as a dak plaque. I am pretty sure its legit but who can ever really say. Someone please send me a pm with an email so i can get some pics out. Matt

Hey guys, Mark Gibson said he would toss some pics up for me so i will get them to him today some time.
