Nice Plate! Yes, in the center it shows the "Wolfsangel" but im sure you already know this but you wonder about the sword,correct?!

About the Wolfsangel symbol see here:

The symbol was also used in various coat of arms and as a Heraldic Symbol for Families and Names.

oval shaped, handembroided very old Table Cloth..I guess much earlier than 3.Reich period..and a Looker!!

The Kinderwiege is a stunning piece for sure!!!! and IMO has a fair price tag...same with the Sippentruhe

I just wondered and needed a second look on the Lid..what does the Turtle stand for as symbol on the chest?
I asume a long life???

ok..just found out the turtle symbol mostly stands for a long life and also for protection against storm and hail..... because the turtle bears lots of eggs..it can also stand for fertility
