I think you mean Panzer-Regiment 33, which was called "Prinz Eugen". Do you have more information? Many thanks.

I believe the sign on the cross (on the rear deck of the Panzer III) says Pz.Rgt.33 in which case it was most likely a type-o on his part.

Beautiful, Christian. Just beautiful... Very nice late-war photo of a StuG.III from Pz.Gren.Div."Kurmark." Judging from the surroundings, the camo on the StuG and what the soldiers are wearing, I'm going to guess the time frame to be late March/April 1945? Again, wonderful photo. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Yes, it was my mistake. The regiment is 33, not 38. Here is a close up with cross details.
