good to see you are still going strong!!
This forum is for learning and sharing knowledge and experience. And this thread is for sharing photos. Come on you photosammler, where are you all?

        Bill,

Glad to hear that some more people will be getting involved soon.

Here is another somewhat rare original image. It would not be an exageration to say that the availability of original Japanese paratrooper photos, vs German paratrooper, is 1000 ( German ) to 1 ( Japanese ).

          Eric,

I would agree...I wonder if Akira comes across any of these types of photos in Japan?

Very Nice!!! A German friend of mine gave me one of these after his wife washed his shirt and guess what was in the pocket?

                  Eric,

could these smocks be the ones used for training behind the "wind donkey", when the students are dragged over the field by their parachutes? Looks like they added some extra fabric, against wear and tear. My 2 cents worth....

                      Frank,

Good question, but I don't think so. It's my understanding that the "drag smocks" were manufactured that way ( heavily reinforced in certain areas ).
I think this are markings of some kind.

                      Akira,

Neat photos. What kind of boots is Bepper wearing? Are those mountain boots?
