Is it 800 silver piece or the silvered variant ? Looking at the loop I'd say silvered. Still very nice. I also like the ribbon.

I took a gamble on this one, as the pix were a bit blurry - but a good gamble I think.

Early to mid production set of St&L made OLS, marked "800".
Have to say, feels heavier than other sets I've seen ( 9,60 gram ).

Bingo - never thought I would be able to own one, but the day has arrived.
Just waiting for good light to post snapshots ..... she's a beauty for sure !

I purchased some other paperwork from a gentleman in Germany ( also significant, to complete another group ).
We got talking and I told him about my missing piece - and against all odds, he had the Schickle variant.
We discussed a fair price for the set and he agreed to my proposal - I just received the parcel today.
