That's because you know so much and the rest of us don't know anything.

Anyway, what do you think of this Wehrwolf badge currently on eBay?

Attached is the only contribution I can make to this interesting thread - a recent pickup from a Sydney coin/medal shop.

Evaluate the item, not the story and not the seller's reputation!

If you PM/contact me without the courtesy of using your first name, please don't be offended if I politely ignore you!

The badge is an original. The first real one on ebay since months.

Großer Deutscher Tag in Taucha 1924!

In the early years the so called Deutsche Tage were very popular events, which were used for Fahnenweihen.

This rare paper is from the "Fahnenweihe des Stahlhelm und Wehrwolf sowie des Schutz- und Trutzbundes der Deutschvölkischen".

The book of H.Löns played an important role in the ideology of the Wehrverband Wehrwolf. A fight against the enemy at the borders and a fight against enemies in country! Especially because such ideas, the book was given to many soldiers, HJ etc. at the end of ww2.

                          Wehrwolf "Schwarze Brigade" Sachsen

Since I found the cuff title of the Wehrwolf "Schwarze Brigade" some years ago, I tried to find a nice period photo, which shows it.

Hard job, because the Brigade had not more than 300 members and existed only a few months in 1933.

One year later I found a very small photo of Brigade members, but you could see only the beginning of the lettering. Not the skull.

Now I had more luck. Ok, again no "huge" photo and not a sharp atelier photo.

But I guess there's no chance to find a better one and that's the reason why I'm very happy with it.

In this photo you can see the cuff title skull.

There was another member in the same photo, but he wasn't so nice to show us more of his cuff title.

The most expensive Wehrwolf postcard that I have ever seen.

The dealer wrote, he is not sure what it is, Freikorps, end of ww2 etc.

And he wrote he like it and that is the reason for his asked price. What price? $399!

I think every collector pays sometimes "crazy" prices. But a Wehrwolf postcard with a price of nearly 300 Euro? In this case I pass.
