        Hi Sergeant 08,

Truly, one of the best threads on WAF, good show! I've only tuned in off and on over the years, but I went through the entire thread today, it's fantastik!

A few quick questions if you don't mind...

Was the Wehrwolf Bund anti-semitic as policy? Were there Wehrwolf groups in Austria, and if so, did they have any special insignia, uniforms or postcards.

Just how rare are the Jungwolf's membership pins? I do know there were only 3000 members total. Is there a rough estimate on how many reside in collections today?

What would your most coveted Holy Grail piece, one that you don't own already, be?

Thank you for all of your work on your collection and this thread, and I hope you keep it going for many years to come!

Wehrwolf groups were in many different countries. Even a Wehrwolf Ortsgruppe New York existed!

Sorry, I have no idea how many Jungwolf badges are still in collections today. Jungwolf stuff is so rare....

Holy Grail piece? An untouched black Wehrwolf visor cap.

2015 was a good year. Found many new things for my collection. For example I bought a Wehrwolf lot from Baden-Württemberg. The most interesting things in that lot were the uniform removed collar tabs. Normally the piping was red-white on collar tabs. My first thought was, perhaps the white color changed into yellow during time. No! The piping is red-yellow, the colors of Baden!

Another evidence for many insignia differences used by Wehrwolf members in different regions.

I like the fact that those collars were cut right off the tunic. a Great addition!

                          Hi Sargeant,
Compliments on your collection, very-very nice!
I have found a wehrwolf ortsgruppe badge (not the pendant/necklace), the one with the W and wolfangel on top and bottom on the Skeleton Coast of Republic of Namibia (previously Deutsch Sudwest Afrika).
(I at first did not have a clue as to what this was but Robin L was very helpfull and kind in identifying it for me)
Question: are you aware of any opfergruppe specifically assigned to DSWA?
                          regards,
                          Jaques

I would not know why there was no Wehrwolf in DSWA (Namibia), as there also was Jungstahlhelm, Stahlhelm and Pfadfinder, structured as in Germany, and HJ.

You mean this badge, correct? Very rare!

It seems, that the Wehrwolf was very active in DSWA. I have already bought some nice Wehrwolf items from Namibia in past. Sometimes groups in foreign countries were more active, than groups in the orign countries.
