Here is the latest addition, an early tropical panzer sidecap by a very scarce maker, Emil Schebeler. This is not a beehive find cap, it's actually a British vet souvenir from North Africa so either taken very early in the campaign or from a stores cache. It has very little wear; just enough to show light dirt on the insignia & soutache as well as the interior. It also has enough to take that brand new sheen look from the early thick olive twill material.
As you can imagine, I am very pleased with this cap.

Mark,
very nice pz cap! That is a fantastic pile of boards, see a few of my old boards in there
Paolo,
2 officer belts! Man I could use one of those in my little collection but doing great for only 18 months.
I'll have to post a group shot of my helmets as of recent, I have gained a couple in the last few months and a few nice boards. Matt

Here is one that will be enroute on friday, board belonged to Heinrich Lux (Lux automobile company), who served with one of the early-arrival mech inf regiments in N. Africa (he was captured by the Brits in '42). For whatever reason, Lux's wife sewed a field-gray wool buttoning tongue onto the strap during Lux's one home leave. This board is coming from one of our respected forum members and I am very glad to be able to add it to my small pz gren collection. The information will stay with the board. MattAttached Files
