            That is a fantastic collection, small but full of quality items. The photo album is superb. Interesting the picture with someone in a summer tunic with the green collar, if that is in Afrika, that is something you don't see very often.

                        The plain HBT chevrons are for the fatigue tunic, and are not tropical items.

                            I would think that examples of these might easily have been used in leu of tropical chevrons due to supply problems.
                            Here's a tropical twill pattern in place.

                              Very nice collection Bob, thanks for showing it. Agree with Mark on the chevrons, even though some examples are shown in the Kurtz book as Luftwaffe tropical chevrons.

                                For all of those who remember this faded and stripped NCO tropical tunic belonging to Feldwebel Otto Ammon, I have completed a full restoration after many years of looking for the right insignia.
