Yes. I assume that unfortunately no such letter or other proof has survived. But at least we still have Mr. Floch's eyewitness account. Great.
Bottom line: that "interview" has no relevance. He gave you a nice story that neither he nor anyone else can back up.

I was passing on the statements he made to me along with the paperwork I saw .....plain and simple correspondence between three parties Floch , director of Polska films and a third party . He didn't say he was all over Eastern Europe only Poland and he specified Lodz , Poland and Polska films. The business card and letter head on correspondence only specified him as a purveyor of film props.
I'm not sure of the exact political climate there personally but I understand softer.
Whether any of what he stated or presented is fabricated or true I don't really know .....so don't kill the messenger .

If he could find a factory who made great 3 piece EK1 , how hard can it be to find someone who makes smocks?
From what ive read going thru this thread and Floch admitting to making Iron Crosses for the needy then the above statment ''imo'' carries some weight.

Indeed - So let me get my head around this - he tells the truth about making EK's but lies about the smocks. Cherry Picking what you choose to believe (or what fits the agenda?) there boys...
Thanks to those who had the genuine interest in finding out more about this subject to actually walk up to the guy and get an interview.

And yes, good someone is asking the question.
Still not convinced enough to buy a pink smock I’m afraid.

He was the one that got many of these into the USA around the same time these smocks showed up. The caps were found in the West of course but it proves he
(like George Peterson) was a Dick Tracy and able to dig up very good stuff...
I agree that he has a spotty reputation on medals but when you talk about gear/uniforms, well I don't think there is anything that he offered in the past, that was faked,
contrived, repro contracted and passed on as real...NOTHING...
The amazing beehive DAK side cap find for me adds a positive light to his reputation (albeit the fact that he hawked fake EK1's...he was a hit and miss with his medal offerings...yes)

Kudos to you Nutmeg and Dennis for actually doing and interview with him - a thing we have talked about for a long time.
What was interesting to hear is that Floch did not think they were fakes. IF he would have openly said that he believed them to be repros it would have been a strong indicator of that they can be written off as fakes by the openminded side of this debate. No one could hold him accountable for bringing them to the west some 40 years ago and selling them for what they were - fakes or not so Its not likely he would lie. I dont believe in that he is telling lies now. That doesnt add up.
What could be possible is that he got taken for a ride and that he didnt figured that out at the time being.
IMHO this story is another + for that there is a chance for them.
However we are still left with the fact that they are different... But we have come to know that by now... Oh man ....
What can be done now to come to some sort of further conclusion, is what Nutmeg did at the Minsk film studio, and try to research them for possible clues and so on but regarding Polski film. Anyone of our polish collectors who is up for a challenge?
And some of you guys, have a beer and relax .. You know who you are, no pun intended...
Cheers
