Every type of exotic helmet cover was made.

I don't know how many different caps were made made but I am sure he used the same zelts to make pieces of all types and pattern mixes.

I can't answer how many grey tunics he done as I never tracked those.

        Hi,

so virtually if we get enough pictures of Lorenzo caps/helmet covers, we can maybe reconstruct the Zeltbahne that were used right ?
It could be quite interesting to do that.

Owen, by your knowledge how many helmet covers can be done with one Zeltbahn ? I think maybe someone on the WAF gave a possible number in the past, but i'm not sure...

        See You

I have never cut up a Zelt to make covers as don't know the real answer.

Disco could answer you as he can ask his boss how many covers he gets from one.

lorenzo is not my boss and you still did not bring any fact or valid evidence (or even a hint) that Lorenzo has in fact ever sold any questionable helmet cover. So many lies have been posted and exposed here already. I asked for a simple logical thing - any fact or evidence or witness. Instead you are just repeating your baseless statements "Lorenzo made these covers and a lot of other fakes" which in my opinion is all lie and will remain as such until you bring the facts for your arguments. Btw it is a well-known tactics you use that's why you have success hopefully only temporary

Maybe 4-6? Depending on the zelt's condition
at an average price of 5K each it's a pretty good profit....

You mean this not so brilliant revelation from Disco Partisan ?

In my opinion, all "Carl Halfer" panzer M43 caps shown in this thread are fake.

All Russian stamps shown in this thread are fake too. I asked about these stamps on Russian forum yesterday. No one has ever seen these stamps before on any original item in Russia. They said the style (including color) of stamps is wrong and what these stamps say makes no sense. Everybody who saw these stamps are confident that they are fake. They also believe that these "Carl Halfer" fake caps were Not made in Russia and "Carl Halfer" caps have never been in Russia.

What I found as an obvious sign of fakery in these "Carl Halfer" caps is their buttons - on each and every "Carl Halfer" cap the buttons are different. That is a very coomon problem for fakers - original buttons for M43 caps are not easy to find and fakers use whatever they can find. See below I combined all "Carl Halfer" caps shown in this thread in one picture side-by-side

                          Well, here is what a members of this forum who found the caps had to say;

                          "Hi Chris,

Yes, the ones with the Russian film studio stamps where definitely found in Russia, I brought them back myself.

Yes, I agree with the Carl Halfar stamping, they probably made 100.000 of caps so naturally the had many different stamps and was wearing them out. They may also have different locations for making the caps and also subcontractors

The buttons mean nothing as most of the cap are well worn and can have had buttons changed because of that or at the film industry to for that matter. I do not remember exactly what the text was saying as it was so long ago, but something about the red army.

Yes, we got them out of the Red Army Veterans museum in St Petersburg in the mid 90´s.

We still have one cap at the office which my partner got off me in the early 2000, he still has it"

And for anyone who does not want to believe me that the above is accurate then I can have this verified with Owen by the sender of the above email and I know Fritz can also verify its accuracy.

Sadly Disco Partisan is wrong, the Carl Halfar caps were found in Russia in various states of repair along with several Panzer wraps and that is a fact.

As far "The Pink Smock" debate goes that thread has been closed by the moderators and I abide by their ruling. All I can say is that they have not sold for even a fraction of what the Lorenzo covers and caps have sold for. When it comes to the "Pinks", we are not talking about the level of financial damage being exposed by this thread. To quote Owen, the "Pinks" are "fun" when compared to these,

                          Chris

                              Chris/"90th Light" ,
It is the same thing to me is going on here right now just as the "forging documents" by you about pink smocks. They fake facts just the same way you did

                              http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...60576&page=147

Ps. Are you talking about PvLucas? The stamps on M43 caps are fake. That is what the whole Russian collectors community said and they have seen Russian capture stock items believe me

                                Simple difference,

What you defend here means several if not many collectors and dealers have "fake" covers & caps that they paid thousands of dollars or Euros for which are now revealed to be nothing more than a nice filler worth may be 100 Euro or dollars.

As already stated the "Pink" smock thread is closed by the moderators and I can not say more about that here,

                                Chris

p.s. then there is the question of you being bnz.42 as stated by Fritz
