    MODERATORS
I think this thread would certainly be more appropriate in the Collector Community Forum. As interesting as it seems, it really doesn't not contribute to collecting the item . I do hope others are also in agreement. Ron

It would get the same exposure, just in a more appropriate forum.
I just think this forum would better serve the discussion of items rather than new stories. Ron

              I agree,
              as Lemmy once said,
"Nothin' wrong with a little fun now 'n' then, mates"

              Jp
p.s. I presume he must've said that at least once in his life.

Yes I have, but what does it have to do with this thread.
Some of the post have nothing to do with collecting SS material.
If you guys want to have "fun", then the Collector Community Forum is the place for it. I hope the moderators will understand.

                          Oh, here's pic....
...and btw, all of this is relevent because these visionary chaps were collecting SS cloth way before some of us were born.
Perhaps we owe thanks to them for saving much of it from the trash bins of the 1950's 60's and '70's.

Here is a pic of John Lennon reading about the "Shocking Life of Brian Jones",and his death in 1969.

Check out the photo on newspaper!

Again.......this is relevent to SS cloth collecting, and puts it into it's historical context. In this case, the 1960's (that was early, and a completely different market).
Just because these dudes like(d) "shock value", doesn't make them any less worthy of collecting the stuff.

Wearing it does not equate to collecting it! Collecting is alot more than just putting on a uniform and medal and parading around against establishment. They could care less about preserving or saving it form the trash. And who are we showing respect to? Ron
