Here are two Lorioli skulls. I have had the good fortune to locate a small horde.
They are extremely rare and harder to find than any of their German compatriots
by a long run.

Notice the Lorioli is slightly larger.

Neat Cap, I like the Brown leather inside. I really like the Skulls, I could spend hours looking at those under Magnification!!! The larger ones look to be of a higher grade medal, almost silver.

Nick, I don't like the eagle on the tunic . Sorry.I don't accept that one as an original, Its too thick and the fletching on the lower feathers are too rounded.

On this thread I learned about the issues with rounded fletching on the Italian SS sleeve eagles...reportedly an indicator that these are copies...
Is this such a copy?

Nick,
It is my belief that mine are of Italian manufacture and the one you posted is of German manufacture. Mine were found with Italian made Lorioli metal skulls and other Italian made insignia so that is how I drew the conclusion. This is why there is not only a difference in style, but also construction.
