We can all be quick to judge. But if its true then its bad to con a fellow collector out of his hard earned money they are greedy and dishonest. But to to ruin a piece of history for monetary gain like that is disgracefull . Can they really say they love collecting German Helmets. seems someones been caught with their pants down

I honestly can't think of another explanation, unless, of course, some catastrophic event occurred to irreparably damage the original liner, in which case this should, of course, have been mentioned.
Someone needs to do some explaining.

a better term
I've never bought from Ken, but I do prowl his site often, and I find this very alarming. To be fair, since he has yet to respond, we don't have an official explanation but...
We probably don't need the hemp persuader to get one. Switching out without anyone getting the wiser. If he doesn't say anything about an "untouched liner", and because of his reputation, nobody asks specifically. Then he doesn't have to admit to being a liar. That's pretty sneeky, and not really fair to us collectors who have higher expectations.
Unfortunately, for all the praise he gets as a straight guy, there have been a number of un-resolved complaints that have surfaced on this forum.
I hate to say it, but with all the money that's involved with this stuff, maybe we all shouldn't be so surprised if this kind of thing goes on more often.

I think a response should have already been here. I watched the list of viewers and he was here for a good while as this was posted and for a long time afterwards.
It is disgusting that a perfectly good helmet was destroyed and ramped up for a little extra money. How much more money could have been involved here? Worth the destruction?
The silence speaks for itself...But of course, how could one answer to those pictures!
I say good work Erich. This is not the first time you pointed out the smoke! Now we have the fire!

If this helmet has been tampered with then it will go back to Ken and he will have to hang his head in shame. I would like to thank all the forum members for there posts because without them the helmet would have been sold on to some other collector!!!

And if you could take some pics of the rivets, inside and out, better as well.
You've got an important task Panzerlord,
thanks, Mauro
