Another "T" Form eagle. This was brought up for discussion on the forum. Nice colors, good shape and width. Eagle design is weak. The reverse shows black thread on the eagle. Made of Rayon.

Here are a pair of embroidered cap eagles and a roundel on dark green and field grey.

I have seen this set of 3 pieces on Ebay, coming out of Poland. The breast eagle has great shape and design The cap eagle has a pointed head and should be on a smaller width of base material, and the roundel looks pretty good but should also be on a smaller base material. The reverse shows the incorrect construction method. They are mad of polyester

Tim Curley sent me this nice panzer eagle that he had picked up a few years ago. Notice the small inner wing feathers. Only 2.5 wing lines on the right side and 3 lines on the left side. The back also has the sawtooth above the foldline.

This was sent to me by Marion Liles. It is a Sonderverband 228 sleeve patch. The basic pattern is O.K. but materials, construction and color are incorrect. Made on a polyester.

Here are some more examples of "Patch King" patches. Patch King was making German insignia before the war ended!! They also made a huge amout of US Divisional patches for veterans. One of the key "tells' of a Patch King patch was the crappy supporting cheesecloth used on the back.

The design is pretty weak and it is on an ugly green base cloth. I have seen these in Heer and KM. I have also seen this pattern eagle embroidered on tan cloth as a DAK eagle

Here is one I found out about yesterday from my flock, guess its a common one seen in europe. Its meant to mimic the 2nd pattern one but its not in flatwire. Note the lack of detail in the feet, there are no toes just little stumps. Matt

Are you sure that this isn't an original BeVo enlisted sewn to a backing? I have never seen this variation. I have seen original em eagles,non-flatwires, sewn to a backing before.

yeah IM pretty sure it is bad. I talked to the Uniform Doctor at the show and he brought up the points about it and I think he is right. It's a synthetic type material and not flatwire. The legs just go into the wreath with no toes what so ever. IM willing to cut it off that backing for everyones knowledge if we want to see it.
