Colorizing photos

Great pics guys, some are fantastic and very realistic! Here's some of mine, enjoy!

Two little thing on the pic f General Hasso von Manteuffel

1) He wore the Iron coss 1st and 2nd class from WWI with the WWII spange you have him with somthing that looks like the 39 edition of the ribbon in the button hole.

2) He was also very very blond and you would never see 5 O'clock shadow on his face. I have to check but If I remember correctly he once joked one of the advantages of his fair hair was not needing to shave each and every morning and having much more time to study.

Thanks for the critics, I "shaved" him and replaced the old pic.

But about that ribbon, here's the original pic, doesn't that looks like a war merit cross ribbon in his buttonhole?

Here is an early one I did of a FJ in Italy.

Looking at 228 again and some other pics about it must be the Ost Front
ribbon.

The common thing seem to be if not ribbon bar is worn to where the Ost Front ribbon if the bearer has the ICI.

I have also seen both.

I wonder what the regs were or if anyone cared.

I don't think there was a regulation on this. You could wear the Eastern Front award both as ribbon on the buttons or in a ribbon bar.

Hay Larry, congradulations with the above image, you must be one of the best people at this art that i know !
So keep it them coming because we all really enjoy seeing them !
ps. i just did a quick experiment, i brought your image into photoshop and upped the saturation of colours and lifting levels, because original colour film often had a deep rich colour, your very exact, but i wanted to see what it would look like.
