        this above is a really nice pic of an M41 jacket and the m43 hat seems to have a metal eagle above the cloth one or am i wrong?are those thecloth eagle s lines above the metal wings?

          Here is a closeup of the eagle. It looks like a metal eagle has been placed over the top of a cloth version.
          What do you think?

            yes i think im right!the hat is wearin the 2 separates eagle and cockade like the M34 feldmutze instead of M43 traps!thanks for the close up Larrister!

              Yes I did and I colored it to show the metal eagle with cloth one underneath.

                Howdy all, nice work...

                I haven't finished colorizing any military photos, so my apologies for this off-topic image...

                However, I have toyed around with turning photos into digital paintings. Here's my first effort. There are still some things to be done, but this is more or less finished.

                  Please keep this thread alive. I belive this thread to be one of the best here on the WMAF. The work that have been showed here is truly amazing. I wish I had the knowledge and tools to clororize some of the photos from my photo archive. Well, just have to watch the experts...
