Dont know how to say it but, very neat to have a photo of your Uncles Grave. Kinda weird sentence, I know, but some are not even able to know where love ones were buried. Looks like he had a proper and highly respected burial! Thank you for sharing that

Yes we are very lucky to know where his resting place is. Next time I go to Europe I will be visiting his grave. Like it was stated, a lot of people don’t know where their relatives are buried. Last year I was able to find out for the family with the assistance of DD WASt where my Great great Grandfather is buried, he was killed during WWI. All the family knew was that he was KIA, no other details were provided. DD WASt managed to attain his medical records and provided us with everything in relation to his death.

Two photos of a funeral, possibly for a bomber crew.

I am sorry to say but to me it looks more like the grave of Heinrich Lange and not Heinrich Taake.

There are plenty of fallen soldiers listed as Heinrich Lange in the archives.

Maybe some day a better picture will turn up.

                                grave in winter

Here's an Unteroffizier's grave. I can't read his last name, is it Toangs? There's a lot of writing on the reverse. I feel it tells the circumstances of his death, but I'm not sure. I'll post both sides and would appreciate it if someone could translate it.
