Anyone now anting abut this Heroes Grave?

Marked in negative; "Heldengrab bei Bois des Daines"
Written date on reverse; 27 August 1914. One day before the Battle of Heliogand Bight, any connection? http://timelines.com/1914/8/28/battl...ligoland-bight

Check out close up of spiked helmets, I wonder how long those survived souvenir hunters.

These guys are RAD soldiers and they are doing a mock (fun) funeral of France being put to the grave ... presumably shortly after the capitulation of France in 1940? Cheers, Torsten.

Refering to post #821 left grave:
I found this entry in the Volksbund Deutsche Kriegsgräberfürsorge - stating his grave is somewhere in Russia - Belarus area. Most probably lost...

Would be nice to get all these pictures and death cards merged into the database of the Volksbund Deutsche Kriegsgräberfürsorge. A mega task and most valuable for research. Could be possible if we all would work together somehow.
