#1111 was interesting to me because the marker says:

4. Fl.-Btl. I/29

instead of

4. I / Fl.-Rgt. 29

This appears to confirm that Flak Bataillone were more independently recognized (and operated in fact) than an Infanterie Bataillone.

That is an interesting photo. I guess the question would be what is
the correct spelling of flak? Or maybe there was another reason
for this spelling? Surely it couldn't be an spelling era?
