I believe this one is in Canada...I haven't been able to confirm it yet, but just thinking....Hopefully the 891 in the lower corner will lead me to location, dates and names.
Visible in this photo are two EK1, one LW observer badge, one silver wound badge and the sailor standing in the middle of the back row wears an auxiliary cruiser badge. Hopefully, I will eventually find out the name of the aux cruiser crewman.

Nice pics I can confirm the second pic you posted is in a German POW Camp in Canada. If you look at my pics posted on this thread you will see the same kind of background and type of sign. The big giveaway is in the fact that POW's in the Canadian camps were allowed to wear rank, shoulder boards, breast eagles and decorations/badges. Bill
