      That is how I came to believe the photo was from Canada, from all of the superb information in this thread. Your photos and inputs are great!

      Do you know what camp this may be or around what timeframe? Will the "819" help me in researching the photo?

          Joe,

          If there is no date of camp censor stamp on the reverse side then it becomes a little bit diffcult to nail down a date. I may be able to help you out on both counts but I will have to look at the reverse side of all my POW Canada photos. Bill

                        Hmmm! just like my other thread I seem to be alone on posting some of these pics but I'll keep posting anyway!!

                        writing on back states Rosenheim, Germany. German POW's being taken back by our trucks we were here when surrender was signed and stayed for two weeks before going home.
