                  Pzkpfw III Number 423

I have two images of this tank and wondered if there was a way to identify its unit and what fate befell its crew. Can anyone help?

                      Tank in snow

Here's a tank moving out in the snow. I have no proof, but believe it was taken by a member of 423's crew.

                          Hi,

So the destroyed tank belonged to the 11th Panzer Division?

Yes, StuG III. The circle with a line down it on the left side of the rear plate is the official sign for 11 PD while the "ghost on a horse" on the right of the rear plate is the division's mascot sign.
