      Possible armored unit insignia

      Hi,

I posted this photo in another thread, but thought I might get a better response here. Not sure what type of vehicle this insignia was on, possibly an armored car. At any rate, could someone identify the unit insignia in question and tell me something of the unit if possible?

This is a press photo from my collectio. Jagdpanther from Schw Pz Jag Abt 559 november 1944 (holland). Has somebody an example of the emblem of this unit? The soldiers are from the 1st Polish armoured division

A wrecked Panzer III,i have no information about unit and location.
There are some more photos of this tank,so i hope someone has an original where the location is written on the backside

                          the same Panzer III earlier

Here is an interesting one. By the white cross on the 38t this must be 1939 and that would make the tank in the background Polish. It looks like a french tank. Did Poland utilize French tanks?

Oh the panzer has the number 214, which can be barely seen

                              Hi Yancy!

Your pic shows a Panzer IV Ausf H or may be J!

So this shot may be taken in Italy.

                              Cheers
