This unit is pictured in Russia during the Ostfront campaign in 1941.
It seems to belong to Gruppe Guderian because of the G.

That is surely 78.Infanterie Division which was part of Guderian's Group in 1941.

I had doubt because i thought they used the sign / wappen " Gepanzerte Faust " not sooner then 1943 when it became the 78. Sturm Division.
Also i thought that the fist pointed upwards instead of downward as in this picture, whitch is for sure taken in 1941.

It was Generalkommando XXIV. Armeekorps (mot.) then and was under Guderian's Panzergruppe 2.

But this korps whas not active yet in 1941........
This picture is for sure in 1941 taken.....

The license number SS-5421 was used for Panzerjäger-Abteilung of SS-Division "Reich". The car shows the tactical symbol of anti tank unit, so it matches.
