Hi, if somebody could recognize this tactical sign, it would be really helpful.
Picture was taken in Hungary in 1941 during the Balkan Operation. The vehicle is the part of the 14th Panzer Division, thanks a lot!

The S is for Stiria but this type of license plate are used from 1947, have you a date behind a photos ?

        Thank you for your reply!
Sorry, the pictures are not written on the back and have no date but i think they are taken in Poland / on the Russian front.
Or more to the south like Rumania or Bulgaria.

To my knowledge... licence plate belongs to Gebirgs-Artillerie Regiment 94 (Gebirgs Division 4)

Hi Karl thanks a lot, the date and place is known, so GAR 94 is also possible!

Also Thanks for R. Michael for recognizing the Transport company logo!

                Hello Augustdieter,

Thanks for your very helpful information!
So these 2 pictures are most likely pre-war and taken in the Czech republic.
Or could this collum have belonged to the POA?
The Russian ( also Czech volunteers ) liberation army operating under the Wehrmacht.

Just take a look at WWIIdaybyday site and you'll see the center of the insignia proposed for this unit is the same as your emblem !

I am familiar with Christoph's side but I can not find a suitable archer.
