That's the first DAK soldier in a "bush hat" that I've ever seen too.

            Field car

            Hi,

The 129th Infantry Division used two vertical white arrows as its sign. Its pioneer sub-unit was Pioneer Abt 129.

The field car is a lEpkw (Stoewer, BMW or Hanomag), with the 4 door/ 4 seat body fitted for use by the Kfz 1 or Kfz 3 versions.

            cheers lennard

              Hi Lennard,
              maybe not 129.Inf-Div !
129.Inf-Div use normaly two vertical "Black" Arrows.
334.Inf-Div use two vertical "white" arrows, but this division is never at east.

                Division ?

                Hi Patrick,

Could be 334th, the background countryside could well be Italy.

                cheers lennard

                  Hi Lennard.
No, i think this is not 334.Inf-Div.
Because i have two photos in my collection whit this same insigna (2 vertical arrows in black square) and this is no doubt in eastern front.

                    Hi Patrick,

So what are you saying ? it is Russia and is the 129th Inf Div but with a colour variation in the divisional sign, or another unit entirely ?.

                    cheers lennard

                      Hi Lennard,

I dont Know, but If I have to make a choice, i say 129.Inf-Div with reverse colors.
                      But i'm not sure.

I need some help identifying this Panzer unit sign / Emblem, skull on tank.
Date and place are unknown but possible France in 1940 and fought with Groupe Guderian.

Does anyone knows to whitch division / unit this panzer belonged?

It's Pz.Rgt.18 of 18. Panzer-Division, dating the photo to Operation Barbarossa.

                            Hello Jason,

I have my doubt about the period?
The 18th Panzer division is formed after the French Campaign, all other pictures in the same lot clearly show France and or Belgium as the theatre of the battle but do not show panzers.
Some vehicles in this lot show the G of Armee group Guderian.
So I realy think this picture of the panzer from the same lot is also taken in France 1940.

I have zero doubts, it's definitely 18. Panzer-Division. In your photo, you can even see the divisional emblem below the "3" of the turret number.

Wow, you have great eyes !-)
I did not see that, thanks.
So the pictures from the French / Belgium campaign might be of the 4th and / or 14th Infanterie Division?
That are the divisions the 18th Panzer was formed into after Oct. 1940.
