First a panzermanner with lanyard. The button attaching the eapulette to the uniform has a number 8, I'm assuming this guy was part of Panzer Regiment 8.

Nice pics...thanks for posting them.

The button represents the 8th Kompanie normally there would be a number on the shoulder board itself to identify the unit such as P 8 for Panzer Rgt 8 but I don't see one.

Hard to tell on the last pic...I would say Flak. - Bill

Thanks Bill, ive been trying to ascertain under a magnifying glass if the PAB he's wearing is the normal PAB and not one of the numbered versions. It seems to have the wider look of the numbered versions then again it may be the way hes sat

I believe it to be the standard Bronze PAB for Panzergrenadier/Panzerjaeger. The number 25 badge is much larger and different construction. Check out the awards/Badge forum for badge comparison and you will see the difference. Bill
