Does somebody know if Kurt Sametreiter is still alive and well?

He is still alive. Last letter i received was in December 09. He was well at this time.

Dave I was in intense written conversation with Willi U. in the late 90's early 2000's for our Sturmgruppen web-pages as well as a couple book projects along with RK award winner Hans Weik before his passing. not sure where you received the 1981 date ?

Wilhelm Moritz (Luftwaffe) +

Today i received a letter of Mr. Wilhelm Moritz`son.
He told me that his father passed away. Unfortnuately not a date of his death.

It's a shame that Moritz passed away.
If I remember correctly, he had been in poor health for some years.
He was one of the last Sturmjager pilots, if I'm not mistaken. I would like to know his date of death...
