Martin, that's a great idea. Last year I barely got a minute with Sonne, as the space around him was overcrowded. Poor guy.
A fellow friend of mine, who is a OdR- member for more than over 20 years just wanted 1 single signature in the end, but was unfortunately already to late because Sonne left after so many signatures to other " E-bay collectors"....
In the 80's he was among aprox. 5 other OdR member and more than 200 knight cross holders at those anual meetings...Nowadays there are max. 20 KC holders and 100 "collectors"...

I always leave the choice to my wife: I go to the OdR meeting or I will leave the house
Untill now, I was able to choose and I am still with my wife.
But every saturday I have to do the food shopping

Interesting. I got an original photo signed from Bleckl and a full page letter signed from Wiebe. Of course, that was years ago.
