Notice how the foil tailors label is machine sewn all around the border, you don't see this too often. I had this beret for years without knowing what it was. John O'connor of Indochina Militaria finally Ide'd it and sent me the info. It is very much confusing... I means especially the pics for USMF, I still don't have any explanation.
My first thought was that the guy between Thieu and Ky was only there for the show and he was the one with the wrong side... But I quickly realised (must have been under the effect of the G&T ) that it was the young officer that was "wrong", especially since the other one seems to be Le Nguyen Khanh, the VNMC big boss...

I still have a lot of concern about the beret Jeff posted (don't get me wrong, I don't pretend they are fake and I will be glad to have them in MY collection!!! ) But I am eager to see more photos in "action".
I know that some US battleship crew wore the junk force badge. I have to ask a friend about the side it was pinned.
Jeff the fake tabs and tailor labels are in a photo album, that's the reason why it is shinny, except the 1st one which is in a fake TS cap.
