The first Denison is a 2nd pattern and these were produced from 1943 to 1945. I think this one has been altered because the half zip has been replaced with buttons. Who know if that Para wing really belongs on there as well...It's in pretty bad shape too. I'd steer clear!

    Hi,
My friend has a smock like this, it is dated 1946 and is belived to be made in the UK for the Belgian forces, it is also a slite different pattern from the Dennision Cammo.

    Hope this Helps

Shame about the condition but I still like it Well, apart from the insignia that is!

Guys, this is the same person who was selling that dodgy fibre rim and the early step in smock at Beltring last year

        Thanks, from Jack.

Actually no, I don't like it anymore! Looks like it has been chopped in half and sewn onto a different smock?

Hi Jack, I know the seller well; like all dealers, a mixture of and .

Those wings I used to buy trade for £1.50 each. I have a pair on my 1st pattern repro smock. They are actually embriodered in India onto original material from a pair of moth eaten BD trousers.

            Cheers, Ade.

Unusual smock. I bought a denison from him a few weeks ago and it was very nice. Interesting info about the para wings!

When I first looked at it I thought it had the word "Wanka" displayed on the side.
Should have went to Specsavers I think...

                            I contacted this fellow countryman,

"Original, don't think so! These are just awful copies also sold by seller cunnard. Please take this crap somewhere else or describe it properly."

                            Here's his reply:
next time your on ebay go to childrens books to learn to read, where does it say origal,mr charles

They were described as original when I first saw them. He changed the descrition to get away with it.
I think I'll make a bogus username and place a bid of a million just to annoy him. And I'll place a similar bid on all of cunnards and petehal1's items too.
Wouldn't that be a nice way to put these people out of business?
