See he can afford to have millions of pictures if he sells at that price Des!

I made a generous 5USD best offer, I'm so excited to see if the seller will accept.

      Cheers, Luc

        Jack,
I think this was definitely a case of someone trying to bid up the prices of Airborne militaria to increase his own sales. The only person who left any feedback for snowdog.1670 was a seller with the ebay id dc9Airborne and this was for a transaction which didn't even happen. I also had a look into many of the other auctions which snowdog.1670 won and found that in many cases the 2nd or third high bidder just happened to be dc9Airborne with bids high enough to push the price up but not high enough to win. Both id's were used to place multiple bids to push the prices up with snowdog.1670 always being the winner.
I find it ironic that the seller dc9Airborne is also the owner of the site which you have mentioned above as being snowdog's or David Choules. I recall have dealings with this guy years ago but had a bad feeling about the transaction so pulled out of it thankfully. He turned out to be a complete scumbag.
I saw that you have had to relist your jacket due to this nonpaying POS. Any chance of revealing the id of the 2nd bidder that you offered your jacket to...or was this 2nd bidder dc9Airborne?

Best of luck with the auction Jack.

        Mark

P.S. I have started contacting sellers whose auctions were won by this guy with all of the details of his dirty dealings. So far I have received appreciation because he hasn't paid for anything. The sellers may at least be able to claim the highly inflated fees back.

          Hi Mark,

Yes, you've got it spot on! The underbidder was dc9airborne!! So, in conclusion snowdog.1670 = dc9airborne = Dave Choules.

Check this out too - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA:IT&ih=007
Fake insignia and dodgy beret etc but that's not my point here - look who the winner was. I wonder if this gets paid for it will end up on his website?

          Thanks
          Jack

I'm sure ebay would love to know this too.

This was the second time this set had been listed and the winner before was, yes you guessed it, snowdog.1670, maybe all three are in a ring. Incidentally, in a conversation with another collector the geogeodude name cropped up and the other guy had met him and somehow found out what his job was, unsurprisingling he is a master tailor.

Ebay would not care because, whether the item does actually sell or not, they still get their fees from the seller. The higher the better.
When a German seller listed an item which belonged to me and was in my possession ebay did nothing, even with my continued reporting of the item and seller.

They should, it is a breach of policy:

Anyone noticed this. A short time ago there was an RAC bd on ebay, then it was on airborneforcesmilitaria.co.uk and sold quickly, now its back on ebay, the seller 'doesn't know much about it' but some of the pics are the same ones as on the afm web site. Seems to be the same items going round and round, very odd!

                      Found it!
