That looks like a good jerkin, a bit dry but otherwise fine. The sellers feedback would worry me more.

A good blouse with a mix of original and fake insignia and a beret with a modified date. Rubbish, a waste of money.

Please enlighten me Greg as to what makes you think the insignia on this BD has been "reapplied"?...... just curious

                      Dave

Having just looked at the right sleeve close-up photo again, the main thing that jumps out at me is the para wing which does look as though it wasn't exactly carefully unpicked from whatever it was sewn on originally (rough edge - side of wing).

Anything else that I might've missed?.

                      Dave.

That is not "czech cover", that is fake for stupid collectors made from fabric for czechoslovakian reversible cammo suit. This suits is used in 1950"-1960"

In the german MFF the seller said, it´s a czech cover.

I wasn´t sure if the cover is a czech one, a repro or completely selfmade.

For sure it´s a czech pattern and not worth the 52 Euro an idiot had bid for...

                              Back to commonwealth items.

What is this Denison smock? Funny camo pattern, US press studs and dito zipper.
Perhaps a repro sexed up with an original label?

                                Luc,
When I first looked at this I thought postwar smock with added lable to portray it as a wartime 1st pattern with the knitted cuffs. But the more I look at it I think the whole thing is as you say just a complete fabrication from perhaps a reproduction piece.
